The Wrong Order (“we”, “us”) is a satirical, fictional food-delivery game. No real food is ordered and no payments are taken. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights. If you don’t agree with it, please don’t use the game.

1. Who we are

Note: the first three orders can be played anonymously. To continue past that you must sign in, which requires providing an email address (directly or via Google).

3. Information from Google Sign-In

If you choose “Continue with Google,” Google shares your email address (and basic profile name) with us to create your account. We do not receive your Google password. Google’s handling of your data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

4. How we use your data & legal basis

We use the data above only to (a) provide and secure the game, (b) save your record, and (c) enforce the free-play limit. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract (running your account) and legitimate interests (security, improving the game); location and any optional features rely on your consent. We do not sell your data or use your personal data to target advertising.

5. Who we share it with (processors)

These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside your country; we rely on their standard safeguards for any such transfers.

6. Cookies & local storage

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and remember settings. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data retention

Account data (ID, email, stats) is kept while your account is active. Support messages are kept while they’re useful for improving replies. Delete your account (see below) and we remove the associated personal data, except anything we must keep for security or legal reasons.

8. Data security

Sign-in and storage are handled by Supabase over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, use our contact form and we’ll respond.

10. Children

The game is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we’ll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, give notice in the game.
